In the wake of Lee Robinson, the Crawley man who killed himself after losing benefits (The Argus, September 3), a candlelit vigil in Crawley Memorial Gardens will be held on Friday, September 6, at 8pm in memory of those who have died as a result of benefit cuts.
A one-minute silence will take place at exactly 8.20pm to coincide with other venues in the country.
With just a handful of us, nothing will change. Please bring a candle, show you care and make change possible.
See below a poem for Lee Robinson.
Richard W Symonds, Lavington Close, Ifield
We didn't know you Lee
Too busy to care.
You suffered in silence
With nobody there.
You felt, "I have to go"
But we wish it wasn't so
