In response to Adam Trimingham’s article titled, “The worst resort? No, we’re the best,” (The Argus, August 28), I totally agree.
I am Brighton born and bred and proud to live in our cosmopolitan, vibrant and sunny seaside city.
When I moved away to study at university, several of my friends loved coming to visit Brighton and now, in my early 30s, they still like to visit me rather than me visit them.
I am an avid Seagulls fan and travel to many away games. When I visit other places they are not a patch on our lovely city.
I might return from a match without three points, which is disappointing, but I always think to myself, “At least I live in Brighton!”
As the Albion faithful sing in unison, “We are Brighton, we are Brighton, super Brighton, from the South!”
