After reading your article about Jeremy Forrest (The Argus, August 26), while not condoning what he has done, I think it is wrong for others to decide that the girl with whom he had a relationship cannot contact him in any way until his prison term is up.
Her father is a better judge of this, having said he would be “proud” to walk her down the aisle if the pair got married.
I think social workers should clamp down on those who do abuse children. They seem to get their priorities wrong.
