A much-loved mural of a giant sandwich will be taken down after a long-running dispute.
Worthing Borough Council has told the owners of Feast sandwich bar in Warwick Street, Worthing, to remove the six metre-wide artwork from their wall because the building lies in a conservation area.
Owner Anthony Dickinson was told by the local authority that the mural would have to go. A retrospective planning application to keep it was rejected in April last year.
A council meeting tomorrow is set to order Mr Dickinson to remove it within two months.
