A cleaner had to be rescued after he got stuck in a lift yesterday evening (September 1).
Firefighters from Roedean Station were called to Brighton’s EC Language School, in Manchester Street, shortly after 8pm.
The man raised the alarm after going into the lift with his cleaning machine to scrub the carpets.
The lift doors jammed behind him, trapping him between floors.
Firefighters had to break into the building before opening the lift doors.
There were no reported injuries.
