A 92-year-old woman who was taken to hospital after a car crash last week has died of her injuries.
Rose Blanshard, from Cowbeech, near Hurstmonceux, was driving a blue Honda Jazz which crashed into a Citroen Saxo in Colestock Cross, Cowden, near Edenbridge, on August 21.
She was taken to hospital suffering from serious injuries but died on Saturday.
A 12-year-old girl travelling in the same vehicle suffered cuts, bruises and a jaw injury, while a 15-year-old girl suffered grazes.
The 18-year-old driver of the Saxo, from Kent, suffered a broken wrist and his 14-year-old male passenger suffered internal bruising.
Anyone who witnessed the collision is asked to call 101 quoting Op Baker or email collision.appeal@sussex.pnn.police.uk.
