Two cyclists have been injured following two separate attacks.
Sussex Police are appealing for information following attacks on cyclists in one week on either side of the county.
On Sunday August 18, a 36-year local man was attacked in Trinity Place, Eastbourne, ias he cycled home along Seaside Road.
The cyclist was chased from Seaside Road into Trinity Place by three men who then attacked him leaving him facial injuries, a fractured cheekbone and bruising to his body.
Two of his attackers have been described by police as a white man, aged between 20 and 30, 5'10", of slim build with short dark hair while the second suspect is also described as a white man, of a similar age and height and with short ginger curly hair.

On Monday August 12, a man in his early 30s was riding a bicycle along an alley between Hotham Park and Lyon Street in Bognor when he was assaulted at about 11.20pm.
The victim was subjected to racial abuse by two people and then assaulted receiving a cut to his lower abdomen which required hospital treatment.
The two suspects are described as a white man and woman.
Anyone with information on the Eastbourne attack is asked to call Sussex Police on 101 quoting serial 0263 of 18/8 or the same number quoting serial 1840 of 12/8 for the Bognor.
