Campaigners calling for Tesco to stop selling pornographic lads mags will be joined by a councillor on August 24.
Today, councillor Ruth Buckley will join Brighton and Hove campaigners in asking stores to drop the publications due to their portrayal of pornographic images and violence all within the view of children.
The demonstration will take place outside the Tesco superstore in Church Road, Brighton, at 12pm.
Councillor Buckley, joint women’s champion for Brighton and Hove Greens, stated: “Young people see these images on a daily basis which helps form the idea that this is somehow normal. Women should not be defined by their appearance.
