A driver had to be cut free from his car after it crashed and landed on the roof this morning (August 24).
Emergency services were called to the A26 Malling Hill, Lewes, at 6.59am.
Firefighters from Lewes and Barcombe stations used special cutting equipment to free the 56-year-old.
He was then taken to Brighton’s Royal Sussex County Hospital with abdominal and back pains.
There were no other vehicles involved.
His injuries are not thought to be life threatening.
