A farmer's field and tractor caught fire late last night (August 23).
Firefighters were called to Cornish Farm, near Birling Gap, shortly after 11.30pm.
A small section of the farmer’s crops caught fire before spreading to a nearby tractor.
Firefighters from the Eastbourne station tackled the blaze before returning later on for an inspection.
The cause of the blaze is unknown.
