Brighton taxi driver winched to safety after reversing into ditch
A taxi driver had to be winched to safety after reversing into a ditch in the early hours of this morning (August 24).
The motorist had been travelling along Meadow View, Brighton, when he got stuck.
Firefighters from Preston Circus station were called shortly after 12.40am.
They used a special winch to drag him free.
He was unhurt in the crash and continued on his rounds shortly after.
