I took my seven and eight-year-old grandchildren to The Level playpark last week and was amazed with the transformation.
I used the park as a child myself and also took my own sons but, as it deteriorated over the years, it really become a no-go area.
My grandchildren loved it and asked when I can take them back.
Whoever designed it should be very proud of what they have achieved. I felt like getting a skateboard out myself and having a go. The lads were whizzing around having a whale of a time.
The water area is also brilliant and having the “silent” police presence will hopefully be a deterrent to any who want to cause problems.
Well done. It’s great – a real boost for an area all us true Brightonians are glad to see on the up at long last.
