The majority of people in the South East are probably not interested in a new airport around London.
But how about the most up-to-date hospital in the EU at the top of Elm Grove in Brighton in place of the antiquated building where my mother scrubbed floors for farthings and ha’pennies 65 years ago?
I recently went to hospital and waited for five hours to be seen.
The consultant could only spare me ten minutes because he had to see 20 more pensioners like me and train four students at the same time.
We must bear in mind that without all the staff, from the cleaners up to the top surgeons and GPs, the rest of society couldn’t function. Take care, and make sure you don’t have an accident abroad.

I recently spent ten days as a cardiac patient in the Royal Sussex County Hospital.
I would like to thank all the staff who took care of me.
There have been many criticisms of the NHS of late but I received nothing but the best treatment. All I can say is use it, don’t abuse it.
