An investigation has been launched after a woman was found dead in Worthing this morning.
The woman, 30, was discovered at an address in Orme Road.
A Sussex Police statement said: "Police were called to an address in Orme Road, Worthing, at 11am following a report that a woman was unconscious.
"Officers and paramedics immediately attended the address and found the woman, who is in her 30s. Despite every effort to save her, she was pronounced dead shortly afterwards.
"It is extremely early into our investigation and we have no further information to release at this time. Detectives are currently working to establish what happened at the address and how the victim came to her death. We will not be speculating about the circumstances, but at this time it is being treated as unexplained."
