Council chiefs have apologised after days of disruptions to email systems.
Elected members at Brighton and Hove City Council are among those to have complained about disruption in receiving and sending messages online. In addition, the local authority is also making its email system more secure.
MarkWatson, the council’s head of ITC, said: “We have been experiencing some technical problems with our email service but these are quite separate and unconnected to the planned email security changes that have recently been implemented.
"The majority of the technical problems have already been resolved and we are working on the few remaining issues.”
