A man and woman were arrested today in connection with a historic sex abuse investigation.
The 63-year-old man and 60-year-old woman were arrested at an address in Seaford on suspicion of indecent assault.
The offences are alleged to have taken place against a boy in North Wales between 1975 and 1976 when he was aged between 11 and 12.
The pair were arrested by officers attached to Operation Pallial which was launched in November by the National Crime Agency to look into 140 allegations at 18 care homes between 1963 and 1992.
Today's arrests are the sixth and seventh in the inquiry, with one charged.
A report into the claims said 84 abuse suspects had been named by complainants.
The National Crime Agency was selected at the request of North Wales Police to ensure the inquiry's independence.
It was set up to re-examine claims of sex crimes and to look again at the original police investigations into abuse at care homes in North Wales.
North Wales Police was heavily criticised for its role in investigating the original allegations.
