A teenager believes she had her drink spiked and was sexually assaulted after she left a nightclub with three men and a friend.
The girl was on a night out at Life nightclub in Kings Road Arches, Brighton, where she met a group of men.
The revellers later took a taxi on Friday, July 12, to an address in Richmond Parade, near St Peter’s Church, where the victim was given a drink which is thought to have been spiked.
The teenager, from Brighton, said her next memory is of being pushed out of the home and into the street by the men.
She was found wandering in the streets around St Peter’s Church by a man and woman who helped her and took her to her home.
Detective Constable Brad Lozynski, of Brighton and Hove CID, said: “I am keen to trace the man and woman who helped the victim after she had been thrown into the street.
“They may have information which is vital to the investigation but may not realise it.
“I would also like to speak to anyone who saw the group of five people leaving Life together or saw where they went.”
The incident was only reported to police a month later after the victim contacted the Survivors Network charity.
A spokesman for Life nightclub said: “It was a normal night for over-18s and although technically our policy is Challenge 25, we have a 100% ID policy so everyone who entered the club that night would have been asked to produce ID.”
The men who are believed to have sexually assaulted the teenager are described as black males of big build.
Anyone with information should call 101, quoting serial 921 of 12 August, or the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
