Update Adam Muirhead – The Trust for Developing Communities
Hi Everyone,
It’s been a busy few months here. The Young Women’s Group entered their life-sized Barbie into B.Fest (formerly the Youth Arts Festival) and the BevenTEEN Bulletin group went up to London to get trained at the Guardian newspaper HQ. The Bevendean Activities Group (BAG) have been really busy planning the summer programme as well as working with Sir Rod Aldridge and BACA to develop a new project which should help bring in more funding over the coming years – so watch this space!
Also, the BAG have got a sponsorship deal going, where if people can raise enough money through charitable activities, then they can get a FREE GOLDEN TICKET to one of a range of activities this summer, including Thorpe Park and paintballing! Deadline for this is the 10th July – check out the ‘Bevendean Activities Group’ Facebook Page for more info.
This summer is shaping up to be another good one and thanks to the tireless work from the BAG – check out their summer programme in this edition of the Bevendean Bulletin.
I have also started working in Moulsecoomb so you may start to hear about more things from over that way – in particular about things like Wild Park Youth Festival, which I have taken a lead on organising.
To keep regularly up to date on all the things I’m supporting you can become my ‘friend’ on Facebook. Just search for ‘Adam Muirhead-Youthworker’ Adam Muirhead - (01273) 603698 or adammuirhead@trustdevcom.org.uk
