Referring to the letter from Peter Atkinson of August 14, Brighton and Hove Albion transport has also changed in Woodingdean.
On August 10, my family and I waited for the bus from Rottingdean via Woodindean.
We were told as we boarded that the special matchday bus service has now been taken over by Seagull Travel and would now have to be pre-booked and paid for on a match by match basis or a travel season ticket.
Bear in mind that we had our Amex season ticket increased by £30 last season to cover the cost of travel, and have already had this year’s subscription increased by a further £20 to cover costs.
The bus service, already paid for, has been cancelled and a private company, Seagull Travel, has taken over, requesting an extra cost of £75 per person per season.
To the Brighton and Hove Albion management: if you want to lose the support of many, you are going in the right direction.
Sort things out now before it is too late.
Paul Gumbrill, Old Parish Lane, Woodingdean
