Continuing the issue of dogs and their owners, even when dog mess is picked up, there will remain a contaminated patch of grass.
I see people picnicking and babies crawling on the lawns, which is stomach-churning.
There should be dog-free parks. At best one could sit on the grass without off-putting smells.
The only way at present to know the grass is clean is to visit a National Trust property and pay for the pleasure.
By the way, I’m not a dog-hater.
