After enjoying a morning’s shopping in Brighton, my daughter and I decided to have lunch in Churchill Square, where I began to feel unwell.
This is just to thank all those caring Brighton people who stopped to help – a passing paramedic and nurse, other shoppers sitting nearby, a workman who provided a bottle of water and of course the wonderful ambulance service and A&E hospital staff.
Fortunately it was nothing more than dehydration, as I had foolishly not had enough to drink on what was a very hot day.
