More than 100 pubs in England have been given special protected status – with at least three from Sussex.
The Black Horse, in Amberley, West Sussex, The Red Lyon in Slinfold, West Sussex, and The New Inn, in Winchelsea, East Sussex are now Assets of Community Value (ACV).
It means the pubs cannot be sold on without the consent of the community and gives councils greater power to refuse planning applications from developers.
They were nominated by Amberly Parish Council, Slinfold Parish Council and Winchelsea Heritage Group respectively.
We want to know what pubs you would nominate for protected status?
Is there a lively local, a beloved boozer or great gastro-pub you think should be in the list?
