Drilling has started at a controversial fracking site.
Oil firm Cuadrilla have began drilling a 3,000ft (914m) at the site in Balcombe.
After test drilling this morning, a precaution to make sure the equipment is running properly before drilling into the earth, equipment was passed fit to begin the operation.
Protesters have gathered at the site since last Thursday, when Cuadrilla started bringing their equipment in, and 25 arrests have been made so far.
It is understood drilling was scheduled to start on Wednesday July 30, but protesters remain defiant in their battle against energy firm Cuadrilla's plans to drill the well and 2,500ft (762m) horizontal bore at the site, pledging to continue to campaign after drilling starts.
