A city festival has received the backing of the country’s leaders.
Prime Minister David Cameron and Deputy Prime Minister Nick Clegg have sent a joint letter of support to the organisers of this year’s Brighton Pride.
The pair wrote to organisers that the wish everyone attending Brighton and Hove Pride 2013 all the very best for a successful and enjoyable event.
Pride will be held over the weekend of August 3 and will feature performances from Alison Moyet, Paloma Faith and the original Sugababes line-up.
