This is “bright and vibrant” Austen Harrison who died after a mirror fell of him in an upmarket shop.

Tragic Austen, four, who lived with his family in Crawley, died from his injuries four days after the incident which took place in Hugo Boss in Bicester Village, Oxfordshire.

A photo was released yesterday by his “devastated” mother and father, who were not named.

His parents – who have recruited lawyers to act on their behalf – said: “Austen was a bright and vibrant boy who injected life into everything he touched.

"His energy and creativity will be missed every day by all who met him and by those who did not have the privilege to meet him.”

Austen’s family are planning to set up a foundation in his name to help improve the lives of other children, lawyers revealed.

A statement from London law firm Hodge Jones & Allen yesterday read: “The family of Austen are devastated to report that after a recent tragic incident at the Hugo Boss store in Bicester Village outlet on June 4, Austen died at the John Radcliffe Hospital on June 8.

“The coroner at Oxfordshire Coroner’s Court is due to formally open the inquest at 2pm on Wednesday in which the family is represented by Jocelyn Cockburn, partner at London law firm Hodge Jones & Allen.”

Hugo Boss yesterday said: “All of us at Hugo Boss remain devastated at the death of Austen Harrison after the accident on June 4.
