A hospice is on the lookout for volunteers.
Martlets Hospice is holding an event to recruit new volunteers on June 6 as part of Volunteer Week.
The information day will be a chance to talk to other volunteers, find out what the charity offers and how others can get involved.
Alison Booker, the volunteer manager at the hospice, said: “Our volunteers play a huge part in helping the Martlets maintain its vital services and have become an essential part of life here.
Volunteering for the Martlets is a chance to make new friends, learn new skills and it could even help you back to work.”
The event is being held at the hospice in Wayfield Avenue, Hove, on Thursday, June 6, as a drop-in between 2pm and 7pm.
Anyone interested in volunteering but who is unable to attend the event should contact the volunteer team at the hospice on 01273 747455 or visit www.themartlets.org.uk.
