Candidates have put themselves forward as potential contenders to oust the country’s first Green MP.
Retired lecturer Kusum Parashar, National Secular Society council member Anne Marie Waters and Purna Sen, of the London School of Economics, have put themselves forward to stand for Labour in Brighton Pavilion at the 2015 general election.
The successful candidate, who will be chosen by party members, will be looking to win the seat off incumbent Green MP Caroline Lucas.
