Hundreds of women walked ten miles from midnight until dawn to support a children's hospice.
The 750 people taking part in the Night to Remember in Eastbourne managed to raise more than £96,000 for Chestnut Tree House near Arundel.
Eastbourne mayor Mike Thompson kicked off the charity walk, which started and finished at the Sovereign Centre on Royal Parade.
Event organiser Joanna Goddard said: “The walk has been a huge success, with more women participating than last year and raising a fantastic amount of money.
“It costs nearly £7,000 to provide all the care services at Chestnut Tree House for a single day.
“Thanks to our wonderful walkers we have raised enough to pay for more than 14 days of care both at the hospice and out in the community in families’ own homes.”
The hospice cares for children and their families across Sussex.
Plans are already under way for next year's event on May 17. For more details, visit nightoremember.org.uk.
