Youngsters have spoken of their devastation after thieves targeted their community centre three nights in a row.
The 67 Centre in Moulsecoomb has been left with crippling repair costs after heartless criminals broke in on May 12, 13 and 14.
As well as the three thefts last week, the Hodshrove Lane centre was targeted twice in April.
Riana Gretton, 16, who is one of the volunteers and members of the Scoomb be Heard group at the centre, said: “Obviously it’s devastating that stuff has been taken and it’s upsetting to know that people would do such a horrible thing.
“We are young people and we come down to the 67 Centre as volunteers to use this amazing equipment.
“We just hope that this doesn’t happen again because the centre is a place to come and enjoy yourself and to stay out of trouble.”
Anyone with any information on the break-ins should contact Sussex Police on 101.
