Firstly, I want to give a massive apology to Square Peg Theatre.
On Friday I was on my way to see their award winning production Forwards and Backwards, stamping through the streets of Brighton city centre. Dodging all the trendy boys who have invaded during The Great Escape, I arrived at the venue bang on time. Breathing a huge sigh of relief I pushed open the doors and…oh no…I’m in the wrong venue. Total Fringe fail.
So I thought I’d give Square Peg a big promo instead to apologise.
After a chance encounter two lives are changed forever in this emotional and fast-paced story of fate, sacrifice and love. Winner of the Best Actress award and Nominated Best Production at the Buxton Fringe.
Here’s their website.
And a video:
My day today was spent rehearsing for You Left Me in the Dark which opens on Monday at The Old Police Cells Museum. We worked through some ideas for the lighting and changed the structure of the ending. The photographs above were taken of Marie Rabe and Eva Savage during a run.
Yesterday I saw You and Me by Roger Simeon at the Nightingale Theatre – you can read my review in the main reviews section of The Argus website.
