Albion fans have called for Gus Poyet to be sacked for his behaviour in recent weeks.
Sixty-five per cent of fans who responded to our online poll said the Uruguayan should go for “treating the club badly”.
Just 25 per cent said he should stay, with 10% answering that they were unsure.
Poyet was suspended on Thursday night along with assistant manager Mauricio Taricco and first team coach Charlie Oatway.
It is believed the action was taken over allegations of breach of contract.
Bill Arnold has supported the club for 52 years and follows the team around the country.
He said: “No person is bigger than the club. Managers come and go but Albion will remain.
“I think the writing is on the wall and I would agree that Gus has to go.
“I have to say that some of the things he has come out with over the last few weeks have amazed me, even after the Leeds game with him saying he would like to go back there one day.
“I think Tony Bloom will do what is right for the club.
"We are lucky to have such a fantastic man at the helm. He loves Albion, his family love Albion and he will do what is best for us.”
Stuart Adams, from the A21 Supporters’ Club, said he backed Bloom’s action.
He said: “I think Poyet should go.
“We can’t bankrupt the club because one man wants success. We all want success but it has to be at the right price.
“It always felt like it was never going to be enough for him. I don’t think he is quite as good as he thinks he is.
“In an ideal world I would like to see Roberto Di Matteo at the Amex next season.”
Alan Ingram, a lifelong Albion fan, said he had little sympathy with the suspended boss.
The 74-year-old said: “I think he has made the rod for his own back.
“The last few months he has just been moaning about money. I don’t think that’s right.
"They have given him a good contract and have been very good to him.
"I think the club has done the right thing and unfortunately I think he should go.
“I don’t want to see him go but I don’t think he can stay on.”
A spokesman for the club said that it will follow “internal procedures” over the matter.
