Angela Cork may not like Brighton Festival’s dressing up of the Clock Tower by Kaarina Kaikkonen (Letters, May 13) but I very much doubt she’s right to say Queen Victoria, who had a keen sense of humour, would have been offended.

Art installations of this kind invariably divide opinion, but the impression I have is that most people are enjoying the work – and its companion piece at Fabrica in Duke Street – in the spirit of a lively and innovative Brighton Festival.
