Scores of people took advantage of an open day to learn more about the countryside and what an agricultural college has to offer.
The event at Plumpton College was organised by the college in association with the Sussex Federation of Young Farmers' Clubs.
It included horse riding displays, forestry demonstrations, tractor and trailer rides, woodland walks, farm displays, falconry and clay pigeon shooting.
There were also children's activities, local food and refreshment, wine tasting, a fun dog show, terrier racing, sports and gun dog displays.
College staff were also on hand to offer advice and information on all courses and career opportunities.
