Interest is growing in a seedy event designed to get people knee deep in mud.

The Spring Seedling Swap will take place on Sunday from 11am to 2pm in Preston Park, Brighton.

Organisers are inviting people to bring their spare seeds and exchange them for something else.

Besides the swapping, there will be composting workshops, talks from expert gardeners and information on the food growing project in the park. The event is organised by Brighton and Hove Organic Gardening Group and the Brighton and Hove Food Partnership’s Harvest project.
