Over 25 residents attended last night's meeting (May 13th) and agreed to meet again on Monday July 1st at 7.30pm (t.b.c.) at which a council transport officer would attend.
A range of views were aired from "keep the status quo" to "bring on CPZ NOW on grounds of Health and Safety ect."
One resident from Rochester St helpfully provided some back-ground data, such that there were approx. 170 households in the area and there would be only a possible max. 75 parking spaces available if CPZ were agreed.
16 spaces had been lost when the double-yellow lines were painted on the corners of Livingstone Street over 2 years ago which might have partly made the parking problem worse.
