A 20-year-old man has died in a hit and run.
Police have now launched a murder investigation.
Charlie Hancock was struck in Rowan Way, Bognor, just after 10pm on May 13. He taken to St Richard's Hospital, Chichester, where he died in the early hours of the morning. Police are in liaison with his family.
A 41-year-old local man, believed to be the driver of the car, was arrested for grievous bodily harm shortly after the collision.
The case is is now being treated as a murder investigation by Surrey and Sussex Major Crime Team working in conjunction with colleagues in West Sussex Division.
