College students are making a splash with their new iPhone game.
Pupils from Thomas Bennett Community College in Crawley have launched Water Mania, a game that encourages users to save water, energy and money.
The fun app features two main characters – a superhero named Captain Splash and his sidekick Splash Girl – who battle through tasks promoting water efficiency.
The school initially thought of the idea when it took part in Southern Water’s Water Design Challenge in 2011, where people were asked to come up with innovative ideas that inspired responsible use of water.
Pictured are pupils who designed the game, their teacher, Southern Water’s Jacki Mant and two designers from firm MultiAdaptor.
Water Mania can be downloaded onto iPhones and iPads now.
