A former temporary council worker has been jailed after defrauding her employers out of more than £5,000.
Farrah Spencer, from Croydon, pleaded guilty to charges of fraud totalling £5,027 from the council's rent deposit scheme.
Spencer, who was known as Shannon Francis when she worked at the council, also pleaded guilty to three charges of housing benefit fraud totalling £15,275.
She was sentenced to 18 weeks in prison at Crawley Magistrates’ Court.
