We used to see them at every Brighton and Hove Albion home game. They were bubbly, lively, colourful and passionate about what they did, entertaining a proper team and always got a good response from the fans.
So why, oh why, were they taken away? They were Gully’s Girls. If if ain’t broke then don’t try to fix it.
Instead, at times, we now see other bunches of youngsters trying to entertain us with supposedly the latest dance craze.
It’s not the same and it’s not working. I am a season ticket-holder (and therefore pay towards the pre-match and half-time entertainment) and miss Gully’s Girls.
Come on Seagulls supporters, let’s get a petition up and get them reinstated.
David Foster, Seaford
