COLBOURNE John (Claude) John Colbourne passed away on 15th August 2023, aged 94. He retired from the ring as a boxing referee only 12 years ago, aged 82. He was the oldest referee in England at the time. He dedicated his life to his family and the sport of boxing. He is now reunited with his beloved Ed, a relationship that spanned 77 years. Dearly loved by all his family and friends, he will be so greatly missed by all those that had the pleasure of knowing him. The funeral service will be held at Downs Crematorium, Brighton, on Tuesday 12th September at 1pm.
