Huguette VINCENT Aged 94, who lived in Saltdean for 60 years, passed away peacefully on 2nd November. Maman, Mum, Ma to five Children Jocelyne, Bernie, Alain, Martine and Corinne. Mémé and Grand-Mémé to nine Grandchildren and four Great-Grandchildren. Wife to Louis Vincent, her cherished Husband of 56 years who died 19 years ago and "Hug" to many of her friends. She was a much loved and vibrant member of the community having been a former Leader of the Saltdean Youth Club, volunteer French Teacher at Saltdean Primary School, Reception Teacher at Our Lady of Lourdes, Rottingdean, member of the local Church Choir, amateur dramatics groups and Townswomen's Guild. She will be missed by all. Father Benny O'Shea will hold a Requiem Mass at 9:30am Friday 18th November, at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Rottingdean followed by tea and cakes in the church hall, with a brief trip to the Downs Crematorium at noon for those who want to attend and then a Wake for all friends and family at The Rottingdean Lounge Bar.
