BROOKS Joan (née Vermeylen) Widow of Ken, died peacefully on 12th October 2022, aged 89. Joan's love for children was evident in her professional life as Head Teacher of Patcham Infants (1984 -1994) and through the wonderful experiences she gave her Children, Grandchildren, and Great Grandchildren. Her sense of fun, joy of living and interest in people will be missed by so many, but especially the three generations of her family. All are invited to join us for her Funeral on November 1st at All Saints' Church, Patcham at 2pm, at the Downs Crematorium at 3.30pm, and for tea and cake in the Church Barn.
