I met Tim at Devonport halls of residence in our first year of study at Plymouth University back in the 90s. We instantly connected over our shared loves of football, music and pubs. Despite losing contact since finishing University I always cherished the good times we shared. Tim was the best friend I ever had and the news of his untimely passing leaves a whole that is impossible to fill. He was the funniest, kindest and most genuine person that I’ve ever known and the world is a darker place without him in it. I never got the opportunity to meet his family but I can imagine what an incredible husband and father he must have been. My thoughts go out to his wife, children and other close relatives. I leave my number in the hope that someone can let me know how to visit his final resting place and pay my respects. Tim, I love you, Rest In Peace old friend. Ian Motton (07794 384905)

Such a lovely, kind guy. A group of us that knew him from his years in Devon that have just heard about Tim's passing are so shocked and feel so extremely devastated for Tim and all his family and friends. Sending you all our deepest sympathies. If only the world was full of people like Tim, it would be the most awesome place . There are not enough words to explain the sadness that the news of Tim's passing brings, even to those of us that lost contact so long ago. X x
