Dr Patricia Mary Burnett (Dr Pat Horner) Pat passed away at home on 24th August 2021, aged 64. Born in Brighton, Pat spent almost all of her life in the area close to family, her cousin Janis and friends. Pat left Brighton to study and qualify as a Doctor in Wales, she returned to Sussex specialising in Psychiatry, being part of the tier 4 CAHMS team in Haywards Heath until her disabilities forced her to retire. Married in 1988, Pat and her husband, Adrian fostered Anne and Chris and later cared for Donna as their daughter. Pat held her faith close and this sustained her throughout her life. An avid reader, cat lover, a good listener, a caring friend and generous of spirit, she touched many lives. All are welcome to Pat's funeral service on the 15th September at noon at the Downs Crematorium, Bear Road, Brighton BN2 3PL. There will be a service of commemoration at a later date.
