DAVIES Melvyn Leonard George Passed away on Wednesday 13th January, aged 72 years. Adored husband, cherished father and grandfather, friend to everyone. Funeral service Thursday 4th February. Due to current regulations, the number of attendees at the funeral is restricted. Donations in Melvyn's memory are contributions towards a Memorial Bench at Brooklands Park. I never saw Mel without a smile on his face. The absolute love he had for Fay and his family shone out of him. He shone. He was never nasty or unkind. 20 years ago we used to walk with or choccy Labrador puppies and our little grandsons who are men now. Such a happy memory for a friend to have. I wish I could comfort Fay who is lost and sad, all I can say is that he was loved as a person and they were loved as a couple. He has gone far too soon and I am so very sorry.
