Sonnets and scenes from the English bard’s best known plays are being taken outside for a picnic performance in the grounds of a 14th century pub.
Popular sonnets such as Shall I Compare Thee, and extracts from Romeo And Juliet and A Midsummer Night’s Dream are to be performed by the Yellowtale Theatre Company in the spacious grounds of the historic building.
During the afternoon, paella and a traditional hog roast will be available to enjoy while watching some of Shakespeare’s best bits.
*Starts 3.30pm, tickets £10 (under-fives free). Call 01444 417904
