Performance poetry to provoke, lull, joke and console (no, it doesn’t have to rhyme), poet Gareth Strachan and a pair of actors bring his words to life on stage.
His book, Weightless Pedestrian, was published last year, a collection of playful, surreal and thought-provoking verse.
The live show takes the book as its inspiration and uses theatre, film and storytelling to create an evening of witty, irreverent poetry that illustrates the assertion: “Novels take 300 pages to make their point – poetry does it in one sentence.’
