The wit and wisdom of Hoagy Carmichael, Japanese tango and the genius of Bach are soundtracking Richard Alston Dance Company's 2008 visit to Brighton.
The Dome Concert Hall is hosting three productions, including artistic director Richard Alston's Fingerprint, set to Bach's Capriccio and Toccata in D Major performed live onstage by pianist Jason Ridgway, and the first tour of new work Shuffle It Right.
The new piece, which had the working title of Lazy River, is a homage to the music of American songwriter Hoagy Carmichael.
Rounding off the trio is Martin Lawrence's Brink, performed to a quirky Japanese tango score played on the accordion.
