Anyone who thought Gordon Ramsay was as scary as kitchen staff got obviously forgot about ship's cook-turned-pirate Long John Silver.
The one-legged parrot-lover is at the centre of Birmingham Stage Company's new production of Robert Louis Stevenson's classic adventure, following on from their stage adaptations of The Jungle Book and Danny The Champion Of The World.
The story follows young Jim Hawkins, who discovers a treasure map and sets sail with Squire Trelawney to find the gold.
He's not the only one after the treasure though - as the ship's hand-picked crew turn out to be not quite as trustworthy as they first appear.
- Starts 7pm, 2.30pm matinees Wed to Sat, tickets from £12. Call 08700 606650.
