Whatever you think of French and Saunders, three decades of successful comedy is no mean feat and all the duo's best characters and sketches are crammed into this new show.
They met at the Central School of Speech and Drama in 1977 and initially didn't like each other, but ended up sharing a house. They later discovered a winning chemistry - Saunders the deadpan balance to French's ridiculous clowning - that has served them so well through the years.
Both have had successful separate careers, but even after Absolutely Fabulous and The Vicar of Dibley, it is still with each other they feel they are at their best.
On setting off on their first UK tour for seven years and most probably their last, Saunders says: "We're so excited about going on tour and giving the audience a great night out packed full of laughs.
"We'll blend the best of our old material with the new and cram it all into a couple of hours of great fun. It's going back to basics for us and it's what we do best."
